Does anyone know how to clear the cmos of a toshiba laptop?

i had to reset my tosiba laptop.open the back of the laptop then look for a
coin like battery.then you have to un soldier one leg and that resets cmos.
besure to soldier it back.be very careful use a 15 watt soldiering iron. good luck.don't open if still in warranty. seeya. dave .g
