Hardware id strings do not contain any spaces. Your hw id string contained a space between &
. This machine did not come (from Dell) with Windows 7 x64 installed therefore this OS is not supported by Dell.
You didn't mention what pc this hw id string belongs to. It's used in a Dell Inc. OptiPlex 755 and possibly other models as well. I believe the correct hw id string is:
(but without the space)
However, I cannot type it correctly then get the space to NOT appear in the end result. I was unable to find an x64 driver..... plenty of 32-bit drivers but nothing for x64 os. Does this machine match up with ADI-198X chipset?
Give this driver a try: http://dlsvr01.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mis...o_v6106260.zip
Please post comments about it after you test it. Also, check some of the links in this thread:
