"AC97" is neither a sound chip nor a sound card model number. It's only a descriptor indicating the sound is "AC'97 compliant". A term adopted by Microsoft in 1997 setting sound standards.
If you want to see VIA drivers, please visit the VIA website. Or visit the website of the company who made your computer. Also, sound chips do not come in "IDE" interfaces. Most are either PCI/PCI-e or mini-laptop pci cards or integrated on the motherboard.
