HP has no support for this printer in Windows XP x64.

You probably need to try some of the generic drivers included with the x64 OS.

Thank you for your reply Jerry K, it doesn't surprise me that HP doesn't have a driver for XP x64, in fact their driver support is extremely poor from my experience over ht e years buying, recommending and installing HP equipment as well as poor software quality and non user friendly.
