If Acer doesn't have a bios update posted, then most likely, it doesn't exist. Check here for availability:

What OS came installed on the notebook from the factory? I hope it was Windows 7 x64..... then you might have a chance at using it in that OS. If Acer never shipped it with Windows 7 x64 installed, then finding a bios update might be a bit difficult.
