Re: DRIVER NEEDED: samsung n148plus (Windows XP Professional)
I don't understand why but Samsung offers zero drivers for this model: http://m.samsung.com/in/consumer/pc-peripherals-printer/notebook/archive/NP-N148-DP05IN-support
Open Device Manager, find and double-click the hardware device you need a driver for, click the Details tab, select "hardware id" and give me the hardware id string that begins with "PCI\VEN", (1st./top line of text only).
You should have a set of recovery disks (that accompany every new netbook sold) or a hidden partition on the hard drive containing the recovery files/drivers. Consult your documentation to learn how to use these applications and how to restore a driver. Or was this machine shipped without an OS installed?
And you should already know what Graphics/Video adapter this machine contains... does • Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3150 ring a Bell? Netbooks cannot use generic drivers as they will fail installation.... they must use drivers from the netbook maker.
There are some drivers for this machine posted on this site: http://vissoft8.org/?do=download_search
And some drivers are posted here: http://myfreedownloadz.com/9b/samsung+n148+plus+driver+for+windows+7.html
