Please read any of my replies posted previous to today's date to learn how optical drives work in Windows 7 OS. It's only been posted a ske-dillion times in this forum. A little bit of reading will give you some education about optical drives.

And internal optical drives do not have "Other" interfaces, they have IDE, SATA, or SCSI interface.
