I do not know what the device is that you're describing..... eg: mouse, keyboard, other? We provide a Comment Box in our request form for a purpose... it's not just there as a web decoration.
If this is a keyboard, it only needs a driver to enable the special internet/multimedia related keys (if present). The regular keys do not require a driver since the OS will provide support for the device automatically.

As a last resort, open Device Manager, find and double-click the hardware device you need a driver for, click the Details tab, select "hardware id" and give me the hardware id string that begins with "PCI\VEN" or "USB\VID" (depending on the interface), (1st./top line of text only). If no driver has been installed, the device may be listed under "Other Devices".
