Acer never shipped this machine with Windows XP install hence it's an un-supported OS from Acer. Unless you can find another model using the same hardware (and has support in Windows XP), you may be out of luck. Changing the OS on a notebook pc to a non-supported OS is not an easy task, it could require countless trial and error installs and may even require a BIOS change in order to work.
Open Device Manager, find and double-click the hardware device you need a driver for, click the Details tab, select "hardware id" and give me the hardware id string that normally begins with "PCI\VEN", (1st./top line of text only).
Repeat for each additional driver needed.
