Floppy drives have not been built in a few years... they joined the dinosaur at least 2-3 years ago. I'm not aware of any manufacturer that still makes and sells floppy drives.
I realize this is pretty old thread but sheesh Jerry could you bet any more of a a$$, yes that hardware is outdated, and chances are hardly anyone makes or uses it anymore but guess what now it's 2013 and i'm trying to find a driver for this old piece of hardware also...why you ask? because my wife wants a age old document off a old floppy. so i would like to have hope that you have matured and aren't so childish since your 2011 post. so thanks but no thanks for your help, as now i'll try to look to a site that has less douchey moderators.
