"10/100" is not a valid model number nor a Atheros chipset number. If you are unable to identify your hardware properly, open Device Manager, find and double-click on the network device, click the Details tab, select "hardware id", then manually type the hardware id string (that begins with ("PCI\VEN") into Notepad, then copy and paste it into your next post. (1st./top line of text only).
You need to specify whether this device is LAN (wired) or WLAN (wireless). It would also be helpful so say whether it came pre-installed in your pc or was it added at a later date. If it came pre-installed, then provide the computer/motherboard brand and model. This is basic info that should accompany every thread in this forum (but most members just don't get it). It's not that difficult to post a proper request here.... and it would make (getting an accurate answer) faster and more accurate. Anytime the helper has to ask additional questions, the request was not accurate nor proper.
