DRIVER NEEDED: Hewlett Packard (HP) pavilion DV6000 (Windows XP Professional)

hard drive crashed and don't know the model of thenic card. HP site only has wireless driver and tried for another model butdriver doesn't work.

hopefully you have the nic driver for thehp pavilion dv6000 running XP pro

Open Device Manager, double-click the NIC device, click the Details tab and give me the hardware id string that starts with PCI\VEN

the video drivers worked for the network card. never would have tried it.

Yes, it's a combo NVIDIA nForce Chipset Driver and Network Controller driver made for 2 different pieces of hardware. Glad to hear that it did the job.

HP does some things really weird on their website....
