DRIVER NEEDED: Fujitsu MAU3073NP (Windows XP Professional) [SCSI]

Need a *.INF driver for this drive in order to reinstall windows XP on the machine. Fujitsu directed me to Toshiba and I cannot locate driver with Toshiba.... argh! Any help?

ok. sorry, i am a novice. i have been reading some other posts and determined that I need the Intel 82801EB SATA driver for XP Pro instead (not sure why I need the SATA driver when the drive is PATA but I assume they are together). Looked on Intel's site and did a drivers guide search with no luck. would like the drivers for floppy and not the exe. any help?

The Fujutsu MAU3073NP is not a hard disk controller, it's a 68pin SCSI Hard Drive. SCSI hard drives do not require a driver..... hard disk controllers do. The first thing you will need is a Ultra 320 hard disk controller. The 2nd. thing you need is drivers for the Ultra 320 hard disk controller.

PATA (or IDE/ATAPI) does not figure into this equation. You may have ide controllers on your motherboard but they won't do you any good with a scsi hard drive.

Do you have a compatible scsi hard disk controller? Is so, describe it.
