DRIVER NEEDED: LiteOn Technology eHAU424-09 A (Windows 7) [USB]

The drive works fine however in Win7 Ultimate S.P.1 it shows up in My Computer as DVD RW Drive (G SD/MMC with the icon of a SD card... please advise on how to correct this.

What do you want it to show as?? An optical drive should always show as a DVD RW drive (if that's what it is)... not sure what the diagnosis or symptom is. Are you saying that only the icon is wrong or the wording as well? Has it always done this or did it use to show something else. Are you sure that what you're seeing is the actual optical drive or some other device?
