Broadcom does not manufacturer PCI Network cards, they make network chipsets and sell them to people who do make network cards or to motherboard/desktop/laptop manufacturers.
Did this device come pre-installed in your computer at the time of purchase or was it purchased separately then added to the pc?
Is it an OEM or retail product?
How does it connect to the computer, ie: Interface? The most usual choices are:
1: integrated on the motherboard, or
2: a pci card that plugs into a pci slot, and
3: a mini-card designed for laptops.
What is the computer/motherboard brand and model?
Did it come from the factory with Windows XP installed?
