A WD-1600 is a hard drive (not a hard disk controller). Hard drives do not require a driver (in any OS). Hard disk controllers do require a driver. I find it strange that you'd request a driver in our hard disk controller forum yet you describe a hard drive. Windows doesn't care what kind of hard drive you have, it only cares about the type of interface it has. If you want a hard disk controller driver, you must describe the hard disk controller, not the hard disk drive.
It might also be helpful to include your computer/motherboard brand and model?
