DRIVER NEEDED: NEC powermate eco (Windows XP Home)

Need a video driver for NEC Powermate eco desktop. I'm pretty sure its a radeon mobility m6. I've tried 25 drivers and none work. I need the one from the utilities disk. The whole disk would be good too. :-)

NEC doesn't make very much available for this machine.

If you can identify the hardware, I will try to help you.

The splash screen will normally show what the video adapter is... watch it during the first few seconds of bootup to see what it shows. If that doesn't work then I suggest that you get Everest / copy and paste the Computer – Summary section. Leave out the Debug –PCI section.

Note: Desktops do not contain mobility chipsets. That kind of hardware is only installed in notebooks.

I've never heard of a desktop using Radeon Mobility graphics chips. That's type of hardware is only used on Laptops, hence the term "Mobility".

ATI has about 10 or more Radeon Mobility chipsets listed. You'll need to download/install the one that matches your ATI chipset.

This machine is literally a laptop with a big plastic base. It's all one piece. All of the components are what you would expect on a laptop: IE memory, disk drive, video hardware, etc.

The AMD site has no drivers for mobility M6. Is there a driver that will work?

ATI Mobility M6 - 6.13.10.6037 keeps popping up. Anyone have this file?
