If you can identify the hardware, I will try to help you.
The splash screen will normally show what the video adapter is... watch it during the first few seconds of bootup to see what it shows. If that doesn't work then I suggest that you get Everest / copy and paste the Computer – Summary section. Leave out the Debug –PCI section.

Note: Desktops do not contain mobility chipsets. That kind of hardware is only installed in notebooks.
