This drive doesn't require a driver when used in Windows XP. The OS provide native support that allows this drive to be detected and installed without user intervention. The only requirement is a working usb port (and of course a working usb drive).

Hello, windows XP will not pick up the burner when it is plugged in the usb port, I receive a popup asking for me to load the driver from a cd or other source. I have been hunting for the driver for a while; I have not had any luck searching for this driver. Any adeas where I can get the driver from?

Again..... there is no driver available nor needed. This is a plug and play device in Windows XP. When it won't work properly then you have a problem with the usb port, the usb cable, or the usb drive enclosure.

The same goes for the driver DX20A3H05C. It seems Liteonit.com is no help there as well.

I noticed that I had to enable my DVD RW drive to be recognized as a slave before it would work. I have windows XP pro.
