Laptops require specific drivers from the laptop maker or "hacked for laptops" drivers. Compaq/HP doesn't offer any Windows XP support for this model since it was shipped with Vista.
This laptop contains a
NVIDIA GeForce 8200M G Graphics adapter. I doubt that nVidia generic drivers will work so these sites may be of help to you.

The other choice is to search the HP/Compaq website for similar models that have support in Windows XP. Another good way to find XP drivers is to get on their
users talk forum and use the search box to find other users that have faced the same problem. Perhaps someone has found all XP drivers for this model and have posted links to drivers. I did a search and found the following results:
