When I try to install that driver, I get this "This is not the correct audio driver for this system. The installer will now exit".
I arleady tried the driver from Dell, I get the same message every time, which is why I posted here seeking for more help.

Then why didn't you include that information in your original post?

I cannot fix drivers nor tell you how to make them work, I can only find them. I've never had any problem with Dell drivers. I own a Dimension 9100 and all the drivers posted on the Dell website work for me.

I've personally downloaded the E510 audio driver many times in the last 4-5 years and never had a problem with that particular driver. Uninstall existing sound driver, reinstall new driver..... it's that simple.
