DRIVER NEEDED: Elitegroup Computer Systems MCP61SM-GM (Windows Vista)

Hello everyone!

I accidentally flashed my motherboard with the wrong BIOS and I can't find my old BIOS anywhere. Even the site that hosts my BIOS is not providing downloadable links anymore. Here is a report log of my motherboard/BIOS before I flashed them with the incorrect file.

Is this a retail motherboard or OEM? If the latter, what is the pc brand and model it came installed in?

If it happens to be an eMachines T3626, the manufacturer doesn't post any bios files.

It's an eMachines T3626 and it was Gateway WITH OEM.

One question before I download this file. I have posted a BASIM.rar at http://forums.mydigitallife.info/sho...ostcount=22747 and I'm hoping you didn't copy the same thing I posted there here.

Or is it different? Just curious because it looks exactly like the same thing I put up.

EDIT: That BASIM.rar I uploaded is a bios that is somewhat similar to my motherboard but it has a different layout. That causes my Fan to spin very fast at all times. That's why I'm trying to find my original BIOS, not something similar to it.

I think I was searching with Google and found it but don't remember where. It's probably the same file but you can download it then unrar it and should be able to tell if it's the same file.

It's the same file. The BIOS that is contained in that archive belongs to a motherboard that is similar to mine but a different layout. It lets me run my computer well but with a FAN problem.

Before on my old BIOS, my fan would only spin much faster whenever it had to use the second core and get hot. Now it's always spinning fast whether the processor is heating up or not.

I'm on 61SM523.BIN which is the similar motherboard BIOS. I need the OEM Gateway BIOS for MCP61SM-GM. I contacted ECS, Gateway, and eMachines and they told me they didn't even have the BIOS itself.
