Unrar the file to a temp folder and launch Setup.exe to start the install program.

When I run the first .exe file, it says it can't find necessary cab files (must be part of a product CD). When I go into driver folder and run the XP installation file, it comes back as corrupt.
Well thanks anyway but no cigar (for me). If you are still around perhaps could upload it again?

I never had the file to upload, I only had the link to the file. It's the only link that I can find for this file. Have you tried downloading it again?

The manufacturer doesn't even post a driver for this device. They only have software posted for downloading:

That's a pretty strong indication that no driver is needed OR they want you to pay for it. You can only transfer still photos from the camera to the pc using the USB cable. In order to transfer video, you must use the firewire port. It's called "Mini DV In/Out (IEEE 1394)" by Panasonic.
