They still officially support the ORiNOCO as far as I know. If not, you can probably find them with a few minutes on Google.
Proxim bought out Agere Orinoco and nowadays they do an "Orinoco Gold" which is Atheros chipset based and is well supported.
Look for the 8470-WD. (Or even the 8470-FC)

I was unable to determine which Dell laptops came with this card installed or was packaged with the pc.
