Hello ! I need some generic driver to run my HP laserjet 1000 in XP 64 bits or VISTA-64. Actually the product is discontinued, so the HP´s official website dont have any solution. PLEASE HELP MEEEEEEEE !!!!!!!!!!!!!

If the manufacturer doesn't have this driver and it's not supported by XP x64 built-in drivers, then I'd say it doesn't exist.

So , if it doesn´t exist, maybe any chance with a windows generic driver or something like that? I think I would be happy printing plain text at least...
any ideas? ...

You might get it to do basic printing tasks by using Epson or IBM drivers (built into the OS).

You may have to try them all to see if one works properly.
