Question silicon graphics 540 running NT

I have a silicon graphics 540 running NT. A lot of new programs will not run as the system will not read certain cd's to install.Is their anyway around this? I haveinstalled all the down load patches from Microsoft.

hello, I have a SGI 540 running Linux and win 2000
new programs i get xp/2000 you can set it's item on depending what file
so the file accepts it (wil not work all the time)

maybe you can help me, i lost my SGI cd's maybe we can help eachother out couse i need to format all for putting linux and vista on it
