K8t Neo Ver 1:0 VS Sempron 3400+

Hello you all.
I am new here and seeking help.
What version of Bios would you recommend for these MB and CPU.
As is, it won't boot (freezes on "early chipset initialization" led combination).
It was working with an Athlon, and despite the "Sempron supported" sticker on the box, I have a bad feeling about the original Bios.
