DRIVER NEEDED: AST 66267 (PN: 500783-001) (Windows XP Professional)

The AST 66267 was manufactured in 1991. It is capable of 800x600. The generic display driver in WinXP does not have the correct modes to sync at 800x600. The existing AST driver installer, mon_up1.exe, is for monitors newer than the 66267. I have followed many links from a google search and come up empty. I have also tried searching Microsoft. The closest I came was a tech discussion for SVGA in Win2000.

Can anybody suggest a solution other than a new monitor?

I did find the monitor specs at that website. Unfortunately the monitor only supports the following modes:

640x480 at 60 Hz
800x600 at 56 Hz
1024x768 at 87 Hz

and I don't see 56 Hz or 87 Hz as choices in Windows.
