DRIVER NEEDED: Everex Stepnote VA4101M (Windows Vista)

Hello, I need the sata hard drive controller driver. My Everex Stepnote VA4101M had Vista and it has died for the last time. I am ytrying to downgrade to WinXPsp3. I cant load XP because I dont have the Sata storage controller. Windows keeps saying missing txtsetup.oem when trying to load 3rd party hdd drivers

On the drivers download page, as you can see, there are no SATA drivers posted or even mentioned. So until we know what SATA controller is in the machine, we cannot help. You might try the follow software program:

Run the program and then:

Click on Computer
Click on Summary
Right hand window (hardware) if the text is BLUE this is a link to the web site for that particular hardware.

Or if you still have Vista on the machine, open Device Manager and look to see what is listed under the IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers section. If you determine what the SATA Controller is, just repost with that info.
