DRIVER NEEDED: Compaq IJ600 (Windows Vista) [USB]

I'm looking for a driver for a Compaq IJ600 printer for Windows Vista. The printer was made sometime aroud 2000 (not sure of the exact date). Does anyone know if it's out there? Please help - don't want to have to buy a new printer!

No Vista drivers exist and none are planned to be written for this model printer.

It's not because they are too lazy to write drivers as much as the printer is not compatible with Vista (ie: hardware related problem)

New inkjet printers (that work in Windows Vista) are less than $100.00 and sometimes less than $50.00 if you shop a bit.
