HP (your motherboard vendor) doesn't post an Audio driver but they do post the driver for your Intel video chipset:

For sound, I suggest you use the following software:

To find make and model of pc hardware, EVEREST Home Edition is a free system diagnostics, system information program that will id most hardware onboard a mb. as well as the actual motherboard.

Run the program and then:

Click on Computer
Click on Summary

Was looking to update my Bios, though it looked like I was up to date. The link to the HP support page really helped, I didn't realize that HP still supported Compaq Presario's motherboards (MS-6577 Version 4.1)...So it saved me some money from using those pay driver sites and i didn't get scammed, because 1 of those sites said that my BIOS had an update and I had Version 3.26 (which is the highest).
