Note: HSP56 is not a model number. it simply a protocol. H ostSystem Processor. A fancy term for a cheap modem. Also, meaning it's not a hardware modem but a modem that depends on the host system processor to do it job. Many modem manufacturers make HSP modems. We need a fcc id number from the modem to determine who made it. It also might help to say if it came pre-installed in your pc and if so, the brand and model of pc. Or if it's an add-on pci modem (you selected "other" in the interface selection so we have no way to tell unless you say), then we will need to know the manufacturer, model, chipset, etc.
