is ther any kind soul that can help me here??? i mean my pc is all messed up becuase apparently i cant hear anything coming out of it???????

God i havent been able to listen to Tool nad all my other favorite bands.... Can u think of anyother way to torture a human being than to have him completly restrained to listen to the stuff he listens to or watch that kool flicks that are lying on his harddisk?

A lot of stuff there but a few important details are missing from your request.

1: Is the sound a PCI card or is it integrated on the motherboard?

if the latter, you can probably find drivers on the DFI website. You say it's PCI/ISA but I don't know if that's true or not.

2: Did it come preinstalled in your pc or is it an add-on product?
