OK, so you've answered your own question; you already KNOW that there is NO Vista driver available for this wheel on the Microsoft website, so WHY are you posting here? NO DRIVER means the wheel is NOT supported by Vista, which seems pretty simple to me...
In fact, if you actually DID search the Microsoft website for information about the Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Racing Wheel (USB), you SHOULD have found THIS page:
In case you can't view that page for any reason, this is the information listed about the Sidewinder Precision Racing Wheel (USB):
1. Products Released:
"SideWinder Precision Racing Wheel"
2. General Availability Date:
3. Mainstream Support Retired:
4. Extended Support Retired:
5. Service Pack Retired:
SO, since that USB wheel is now almost NINE years old, Microsoft STOPPED supporting it in ANY way back in September of 2004...
From my perspective, you have two main choices:
A. Buy a NEW wheel, one which includes drivers for Vista, or
B. Play your game on WinXP
No doubt, NOT the answer you wanted, but since you already KNEW that there are no Vista drivers available for that USB wheel, you SHOULDN'T be surprized to find out that Microsoft stopped supporting it more than THREE years ago...
In case you haven't noticed, your question has now been answered by BOTH of us... you got it RIGHT, and I CONFIRMED what you already knew...
