Creative owns Broadxent and the best driver for this modem is the current Creative driver.
Are you using the latest WindowsXP driver from Creative for the Di3631.

One big problem with this modem is the old drivers for the rebranded ESS chipset were writen by Conexant for there rebranded ESS modem chipset.
They often did not work well and some were 14MB downloads (over kill)
The new driver is 377KB and an actual ESS driver. Should work much better.
P/S if your using any of the old drivers that use the NetWaiting Modem on Hold program you have to uninstall the NetWaiting program.
"For more information, please refer to the README.TXT file included."
The new driver has its own built in MOH program.
These modems are actualy ESS modem chipsets rebranded with Broadxent/Conexant names.
The new driver is an actual ESS driver.
