Question compaq bios help

I have a Compaq Presario 1610 which had Win 98se installed. Flashed bios with compaq disk made from "hp.com" for my pc. worked great, got virus week later, formated disk, went to load windows again but cd-rom will not work to load oem disk! cannot find "old compaq flash for bios" does anyone have any Ideas??????

Enter the BIOS setup and make sure the system is still set to boot from the CDROM.

Flashing the BIOS may have changed this setting to boot from floppy.
