most of the modem drivers i downloaded have inbuilt hijackers.
i downoladed HSP micromodem driver and used in 98SE, ME, 2000 and XP. all the drivers have hijackers, reporting that my computer is infected and needs to be cleaned with some software and take me to some unknown website.

And folks don't believe everything you read unless there are facts to prove the allegations.
