DRIVER NEEDED: creatix ctx601_v2 (Windows XP Home)

I need the driver for creatix ctx601_v2 modem for XP (CNR slot). i tried one from driverguide for the smart link 56k and it loads but gives the error: cannot start error 10. thanks

I believe the correct (or other model name) is HCNR56k and I don't believe XP drivers were ever released for it... perhaps a 2000 driver will wok.

I've read that the driver "smartlinkxp.exe" will work on this modem but not verified. (NEC released this driver)

Yeah, that's the modem pictured. I've since returned the machine to the customer but kept the modem so I'll try the NEC driver that you suggest in another machine. Thanks.

I tried the NEC smart link driver that comes with XP. It reports that the driver isn't designed for the hardware but seems to work anyway. Thanks for the help.
