PcTel doesn't make modems, they make chipsets. You must identify your modem by manfacturer and model number along with a description of the machine it came pre-installed in from the vendor (if applicable).

I got the same problem with a similar modem, i read years ago that it was an orphan device so i put it inside a draw and i check on it again today, i guess ill have to toss it into the garbage, lol. shame
