DRIVER NEEDED: Toshiba Satellite A205-S4607 (Windows XP Professional)

I have a brand new Toshiba Satellite A205-S4607 and it had windows vista in it and I got windows XP Pro put into it and now I can't get my Wireless card to work. I know it needs a Wi-Fi Driver but I can't find one. Can anybody help?

I am not able to find drivers for XP for A205-S4607. I got my wireless working based on your reply. But my wired connection does not work. My speaker does not work. can you please tell me a place where i can download these drivers?

After you have xp service pack 2 installed a lot of the drivers off of the toshiba support web site work, including audio, modem, touchpad and ti card reader. You have to pay attention during the install of the touchpad and the card reader though because you will get messages asking you if it is ok to install the drivers that may be covered up and if you don't answer them then they will not install. Start the install and then minimize it so that you are sure to see and answer the questions.

Finally got a repeatable XP install procedure to work for Toshiba A205-S4607 Notebook / Laptop Vista to Windows XP Pro - SP2 conversion so I can use the thing.
Load Windows XP Pro - SP2 from scratch.
Install KB888111 {adds HD audio support} from inside the Realtek HD audio driver for XP - rev 1.88 downloaded from http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...&GetDown=false
- MSHDQFE/kb888111xpsp2.exe - Now you'll see HD audio / modem identified but not installed in unknown devices- also UAA HD driver under system devices is now listed.
Install KB893357 {adds wpa2 wireless support} from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
Install Intel 945GM chipset drivers from http://downloadcenter.intel.com/filt...4&submit=Go%21
Install Intel 945GM graphics drivers from http://downloadcenter.intel.com/filt...4&submit=Go%21
REBOOT

(modem may not install until after reboot)
REBOOT

All devices should be installed.

The Synaptics TouchPad Driver will be upgraded with Windows Update (custom) hardware.
