Ethernet problem

I just formatted my pc
But now when I look at Device managment I see a questionmark in front of
ethernet-controller and sm-buscontrollor. My internet is working...
I dont now if its a bad thing or what it meens.
Can anyone plz tell why the question marks are there and if its neccesery for me to do something about it.

the proper term is "smbus controller". Read the info here: http://www.intel.com/support/chipsets/sb/cs-013541.htm

A flagged controller means it's not working. If you don't need your network controller, disregard the error message. If you do need the device, then you need to correct the problem by installing the proper driver.
