You should not need any driver if you have Windows XP with SP1 or SP2 installed. These service packs have updated usb drivers that should make your drive plug and play.

Note: I could only find 4406EU listed on the [url=www.benq.com/support/]Benq website[url]. No 4408EU listed. And this drive is not sold nor supported in North America.
