Exclamation DRIVER NEEDED: LG Electronics HL-DT-ST RW /DVD GCC 4120 B (Windows XP Home) [IDE]

I CANNOT FIND THIS DRIVER . PLEASE HELP ME.

and you won't. Optical drives never require any driver other than what the XP os provides. Please read some of the threads in this forum. Any problem you have with a dvd drive has been previously asked and answered. If not then you are most welcome to ask it in this thread.

Unfortunately I have found that in the case of this particular model, neither Windows XP or the most commonly used program, this being NERO, recognizes the drives ability. Both will SAY that the drive is a DVD RW, but when you try to burn dvd's, it claims that the drive is incapable of producing the specified compilation.
However, there is a very easy solution for this. WinDVD DOES recognize the drives ability and accepts the compilations readily.
