I bought the EDUP PCMCIA card off ebay as well and the supplied CD was useless. I'm running Windoze 2000. The CD driver points to Ralink (chip manufacturer?), however Unknown Device Identifier mentions it's a Broadcom chip.

After some intense searching, I found the correct drivers for this card:
http://www.driverhub.net/public/drivers/

After installation, the Device Manager is listing the card as Broadcom 802.11g Network Adapter.

Hopefully it will do the trick for you too.

Hi to everyone who is having issues here,

I'm running windows XP sp3. The way I got it to work (and it does work perfectly) is very easy.

Go to Device manager to update the driver. Start the hardware update wizard.

Select "Install from a list or specific location"

Select "Don't search, I will choose the driver to install"

Select "Network Adaptor"

Select "802.11g Wireless PCI card"

This will install what I suppose is windows's standard driver, which works fine! But windows being full of BS it will tell you it doesn't like the idea and give you a horrible warning. Don't listen to that, install it anyway. there is nothing wrong with it. Hope this helps someone.

PCMCIA WiFi Card 54g 802.11G (54mbps type) EDUP Brand, BROADCOM chipset.

Vista / XP driver pack (3,236 KB.)
Code:
http://rapidshare.com/files/168708932/EDUP_Driver_disk_w-Broadcom.rar
or
http://members.driverguide.com/drive...iverid=1364216

If you insert this card into a Vista Laptop, you don't need the driver. Just make sure the pc is connected
to the internet e.g. via wired Ethernet connection, and allow Windows Update to automatically download
and install the driver and it will work.
