Hi dude:
First, I thought Xcel is always provided by PCChips, sorry, that's why I didn't say a word about it.
Second, I downloaded and executed but couldn't open Everest, the reason? IT DETECTED I USE A DOMAIN TO LOG IN, so it shows a message asking to download a corporate (or enterprise - don't remember) edition. After that message, it closes automatically. It's weird because Aida32 (similar to Everest I think) shows the information I need with no restriction (doesn't matter if I'm in a workgroup or not). Then, I got the info of my audio device and could download the audio driver using Aida32, it works fine now.
Third, I mentioned that the PC was asking for 2 drivers: AUDIO and PCI. the audio item was solved but the PCI is pending. In the device manager it's asking (in the other devices section) for a PCI Communication simple driver (remember I'm Peruvian and my language is spanish, so I'm translating literally that message).
I have Windows XP Professional on that PC and no card on PCI buses, so, what does that mean?, is it asking for a driver to detect the bus? or maybe it's asking that because this motherboard has a pin set where I can put a PCTel modem?.
Thanks for ur time buddy.
