It difficult to tell since you failed to state what type of interface your device has. Assuming it's PCI (eg: plugs into a pci slot), then you can use your choice of either of these drivers:

ftp://202.65.194.18/cn/nic/PCI_Insta...3_20070117.zip

ftp://202.65.194.18/cn/nic/Driver_663.zip

Since you included a number belonging to Intel (810x) that leads me to believe your NIC is built into your motherboard (integrated type). If this is the case, I suggest you either identify your mb brand and model or visit your vendors website to get the correct driver.

It's very rarely a member ever posts adequate information about their device to where anyone can help. It's not that diffucult to do.

Iīm sorry, but this is the first time I have to update my drivers, and Iīm not sure of what to do

I can tell now that yes, my device it has to be a PCI

my motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-K8VT800 v1 (5 PCI, 1 AGP, 3 DDR DIMM, Audio, LAN)

I have tried to install the Driver_663, and I have not an .exe in the folder, and donīt know to install it, then I think that could be the PCI_Installshield_5663_20070117, right?

Thanks and Regards,

Is the pci card stand-alone, eg: added to motherboard by you or was it installed by Gigabyte when you bought the pc. It's still very difficult to help you until we know that information.

However, my add-on RTL8139 pci card was plug and play in Windows XP. Microsoft included native support for it. I would think yours would respond identical unless you have a bus problem. If your unable to make the Realtek drivers work, then try some of the dozens posted on driverguide.com

You can find all of them in less than 30 seconds (unless you have slow speed dialup) by using our advanced driver search feature.

http://members.driverguide.com/index...on=search&sm=e

under manufacturers select ---> Realtek
under devices select ---> Net Adapters
under operating systems select ---> Windows XP
under model type in ----> rtl8139
click the SEARCH button at bottom and wait about 10 seconds or until page displays.

The card it was in the pc when I bought it, itīs a clonic pc, I mean that itīs not from a particular brand.

Iīll try with that driver then first, and see if it works

Thanks for your help
