Vista Multimedia Audio Controller

I'm using Vista RC1 (build 5600) and the system bluescreens after installing the drivers for the Multimedia Audio Controller. Infact... The compy kinda asplodes if the disc has to do anything besides sit idly doing nothing. Just wondering if there was a driver Compatible with Vista RC1 around? For your info it's a realtek ac97.

If the audio controller is integrated onto your motherboard, then you'll need to visit the website of the motherboard manufacturer to see if a compatible driver is available. Or you can probably get a generic driver from Realtek if you know what the chipset number is.
