Epson Stylus Photo 700

i have a problem.
how can i change my ink cartridge of epson stylus photo 700 when it isnt blinking meaning ready to change.
ink is empty but the printer doesnt realize and if i push the button in order to change the ink cartridge it doesnt go in the position to change the ink.

Settings
Printers and faxes
Right click printer
Click properties

Look through the tabs for advanced options or utilities to see if there is a button to change ink cartridge.

Do this at your OWN RISK send a text file to the printer, when printing turn off power or open cover ( some printers stop when cover is open ) Then you will be able to get to the cartridge.

I have a printer of this model. All I do is press and hold the paper jam button for a few seconds and the carriage will move to the replacement position.
