Brother 3820CN PC-Fax Problem

I tried to install the Brother 3820CN PC-Fax software on my laptop but when it reaches the "writing registry information" part, it puts up a box -
"Fax Driver Install Failed.0x7e" I have been able to install the software on two desktops without a problem. Help!
