Question HELP NEEDED: NAPA 128M mp3 player (Windows XP Home) [USB]

Hi,

I've just downloaded the driver for my NAPA 128M mp3 player and it has all installed fine and the device works fine when I put it into the USB port.

The problem is when I put a different storage device in (a 256M/512M Easy Disk memory stick) which used to automatically work on Windows XP. Now it doesn't seem to even acknowledge this device when I plug it in. The light on the stick goes on but the removable drive doesn't appear on My Computer like it used to.

Has the NAPA driver I installed done something so I can't use my other memory sticks that XP is already configured to recognise?

Grateful for any advice as I have no idea what to do!

Support Information:
Device Type: Removable drive
Manufacturer: NAPA
Model: 128M mp3 player

Remove the NAPA drivers to see if that's what's causing the problem.

Question Re: HELP NEEDED: NAPA 128M mp3 player (Windows XP Home) [USB]

Thanks Jerry, although I'm not sure how to uninstall the driver. When I right click on each of the files that are in the driver folder, the only option is 'install'. There's no 'uninstall'. Is there another way of uninstalling it?

Yes, left-click DELETE

Have you checked in ADD/REMOVE programs in Control Panel to see if the program is listed. If it is then use that to remove the driver software.

Also, if it's listed in START\Programs, then look to see if there is an uninstall program.
