DRIVER NEEDED: Compaq Presario 715us (Windows XP Home)

I am looking for bios and/or DVD firware updates for a Compaq Presario 715us.

After appling the most recent DVD firmware update from Compaq I'm unable to read CD's - it will only read DVDs.

Why did you apply a firmware update to start with? Were you having problems? If so what?

Compaq support can usually be found on the Compaq (HP) Website and other websites by searching using Google.

I Up dated the bios threw compaq and it stoped the cd-rom drive from working, I contacted HP suport they were useless.. All I need is a Bios Update Or How do I roll it back.. Thanks! Mycroff-yahoo..
